On June 11, 2016, 8 AM – 4:30 PM, we will be hosting a Sports Medicine Summit at the Houston Texans Training Center. This will be an interactive continuing education event for area athletic trainers and physical therapists. I will be hosting a breakout session on shoulder anatomy and relevant physical exams. Other topics covered will include ACL rehabilitation advancements, managing skin infections, learning new concussion screening protocols, spinal anatomy and special tests, an introduction to dry needling in rehabilitation and recovery, and a primer on sports psychology.
